Went to Westward Ho! in north Devon yesterday, quite windy with winds blowing from 13mph and gusting up to 28mph. Anyway three random shots from the day

Kite surfer craving the wave

A kite boarder wobbling off down the beach

And finally a bit of buggy jumping

Would love comments especially as I feel the images are flat looking

    hey tim,

I do not like to critique someone else's stuff, I was not there.
The photos are a bit soft, and slightly underexposed, contrast is lacking.
I might have framed a little differently, so if it was possible, there would be some kite in the shot.
Did you PP? Looks like you posted direct from camera.
The action is terrific, would have loved to be there, You just might check your settings.
More shutter speed if possible, graet shots.

    I feel the same...

If they wouldn't have been so soft, they would whip some butts because they have good framing and action.

The buggy jump is for sure my favorite, you can feel the action. The second one is also very interesting with the tire traces on the back.

Overall, good framing and action, but a serious lack of sharpness. :(:

Thanks for the comment guys, I am still coming to terms with the camera which is the first camera I have ever taken off the auto setting and learning photoshop elements 5.

They came off the camera as raw images and I did tweak them in elements but I guess I am missing the mark.

Its raining all day tomorrow (at least forecasted) so I might get chance to have a play and see if I can find the missing ingredients in elements.
