Disregard: I can't seem to delete this thread. After more thought I've decided to go with $10.

I've created a DVD Slideshow along with music that runs just under 19 minutes. It has just over 500 photos from 5 different JV Highschool football games. I'm attending the awards ceremony party in a few days and have set the price for the DVD at $15.00

Has anybody tried this before? If so, what pricing have you found that works? I'm now considering dropping it to $10 just to make it more attractive, but at the same time I hate leaving money on the table.

I just started up with Smugmug and football pics just over a month ago and the season is coming to an end. Looking forward to starting up with basketball later this month. So this could also be an oppurtunity to get my name out there as well. $10 or $15? Which do you think is better?

My goals:
1) Get more overall business
2) Cover the expenses of the DVD's, cases, labels and ink.

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

I'd like to know how you did......................

I've done DVDs for several years now for the parents on my son's teams, however have not charged them. I just completed the first High School slideshow (DVD) and have been approached to sell.

However, I use copyrighted music so................legal issues.

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I sold 12 DVD's the night of the Awards Ceremony for $10 each. I'm working on another one for this coming Wednesday night.
