I found this on my walk through the park the other day. I believe it was a local artist that did it. I have the name somewhere in my set. I was told that there is another one of these, but bigger, somewhere in the park - sounds like another photo shott to me :clap
Let me know what you think... or which of the 3 you like best.
THANKS !:bow

If you shoot another pic of it...be neat if you could get the artist to pose with it. THANKS FOR SHARING....AZZARO
Hi Raphy, lovely sharp shots.
The carvings have heaps of detail in them.
I wonder if they treat the tree with something after they carve an image into it to stop it from dying? or is there a depth they can cut without causing the tree to die ?
Thanks for sharing ......... Skippy

Skippy, I think they put a varnish of sorts over the finished work.
Bought one of these works in Oregon and thats how they finished it off.

I like the full beard shot too. Makes you feel like you're walking just in front of the tree and discovered this! Great job by both you and the artist!
