Monday was the first morning this year when we had a frost in the morning, so I braved the cold pavement and got down low and close to get this shot.
Hard to compose when it's really cold out, and when at such an awkward angle, but I gave it a try.

I'm in the north west of England, and it's rained instead today... Cold again but I dunno if it'll get cold enough again for a bit.

Hi Paul, can I be a devil's advocate and suggest you splash out around £50 on an ancient Nikon 990 selling on ebay - these shot are a piece of cake with that camera and the dof is great! It fits in your pocket and I do lots of "shoe held" shots with no problems at all and the macro is fantastic.
Otherwise well done!

Gosh I could not tell you the last time I ever saw frost at my place.
I don't ever remember seeing it.
Looks like little crushed cubes.
Very nicely done Paul .... Skippy
