Big skip on the rolling billboards, but your pics are good. The angles are about right. Seems there are a couple hot spots on the 2nd and 3rd pics. The transparent car kinda makes it blend in with the background, too. How about using that black cloth you bought for the background? Might make the car stand out better. Have you tried making a light tent of sorts to make the lighting/reflections more even? Some thin bedsheets sheets (or even a single one with the right frame, maybe 1/2" PVC) should do the trick.

When I first looked, I thought he car was real, then I saw the second shot. Very good detail.

An opinion should be the result of thought, not the replacement of it.:scratch

I've got about 4 yards of a black silk-like cloth now, so I may try to do something with it.

    Will make a drastic improvement.

    Love the shots, hate the sport. :) (I'm a road-racing, open-wheel guy)

Thanks, I got enough so I could do portrait settings also, so I think if I cut maybe a couple foot off of it it shouldn't hurt it :)
