exsplotion in space

looking the comet got this exsplotion in space from england lookup to the east 10 o'clock high, as someone got a better lens to look at it ,i used a sigma 300mm

    Cool shot. clap.gif I don't completely understand your post. Are you saying that while you were out looking at the comet you spotted this explosion? I'm guessing that's what you mean because that does not look like Comet 17P/Holmes to me (but I'm not an expert!) You probably captured a bolide (fireball) in your shot - which makes me jealous! There are several astronomy websites that keep track of fireball sightings. This one (Popular Astronomy) has a section dedicated to sightings over England. Maybe you can match up your photo with the event. I'm sure they'd love to see your image.
