Rainbow lights

I saw this done somewhere here, ( I thought) so I decided to give it a try. A macro shot with the Canon 100mm lens.

    3 drops of water on a DVD. Use the smallest of small LED torches about 1" long. By shining it from siddefent directions I eneded up with an array of colour displays, 2 of which you see above.

    Thanks, I am pleased you like them I enjoyed playing around. I missed out on my normal "Macro hunt" this morning and was going through withdrawals so had to shoot somethingrolleyes1.gif

    The first shot looks like you've lifted all 3 drops up with a fast swipe of the beam of light :D

    Cool shots! Never would have thought of water drops on a DVD, very creative. It does look like a fun shoot.

    They are great...beautiful colors...the last one reminds me of Christmas tree baubles.....maybe cause its nearly that time of year soon!!!!
