Had to turn off attachments for a few days

We're adding new servers to help power dgrin and we need to turn off the ability to upload attachments for awhile. Sorry about that. Hopefully the end result will be more server horsepower and faster speeds.

But you can always embed from your online albums

Just found a complex way: Share the photo to myself, Check email, follow the link, copy the URL, embed in the message :-)

Hoping there is an easier way.

How can i share on Dgrin a file that is not an image if attachments no longer work. I'm trying to share a text-file (log) for a possible issue with the Smugmug API.

Are you missing out on something? We allow for unlimited image linking - and if you need help with that just holler.

Not missing out on anything Andy. The simple fact is that allot of times I'm just popping in to post a reply. Screen caps can speak thousands of words and it's a bit of a hassle to u/l to SM then link the image. Normally I just use snaggit, save to desktop, then attach the image.

Even a "Hey guys, your not going to have attachments until the new year" will placate all but the most impatient of grinners.

Just asking for an update.

No, this is about attaching photos to Dgrin posts. Nothing to do with uploading photos to SmugMug by email....
