Wow, what a trip. A week before the race weekend driving around the hills and area surrounding Valencia, visiting wine regions and enjoying a rural lifestyle, then a race weekend where there was 130,000 people in attendance, and then it was off to BCN (Barcelona) for a week of city life.

Love Spain - OH..if anyone reading this lives near Malaga/Valencia please contact me....

One high spot of this race weekend was how polite and how supportive of all the racers the Spanish fans were. Each time the riders came round during the race, people would stand and clap. Amazing.

My apologies for the delay in posting something. As is the case, I catch *something* when I go away and last week I was sick with some flu/cold thing. It didn't stop me day tripping with Emily and enjoying some good ham, wine and cheese, but the itsybitsy stuff like editing wasn't going to happen (aside from the contractual stuff I had to do...)

Oh, and my site is now updated...

Oh my goodness! The last two ones are A+++.

I really like the photojournalistic aspect of the first ones. Very bright colors and framing.

The last two ones have outstanding colours, sharpness and close framing.

    Awesome job! thumb.gif

#4. But these lack the usual color punch you usually provide.

    Watcha!

Hmm, I don't think so, they're processed no differently than others, however, I purposely underexposed by a 1/3 and wanted to somewhat echo the ochre and pastel colours you find in Spain (sounds odd but it's true)...!

I will say that this track is quite the one light direction. It moves from what would be left of the tower (looking at the picture) to just right of the tower, so there's only a handful of spots where you actually have the sun behind you.

One thing that is truly a shame is that the race doesn't end later in the day. The late afternoon sun here is truly golden, and i mean warm, glowing.

I think these shots are average at best and lack any kind of cohesive perspective. you seem to be routinely stuck on adding extra angles to corner shots. you may want to spend a bit more time gaining some comprehension of your subject matter instead of getting caught up in trying to reinvent the wheel so to speak.

I think I had the brightness down. Reset and it looks pretty
    good to me.

    Welcome!

Thanks for the welcome Ian. Unfortunately, I don't have anything recent for sports at the moment, apart from one shot. Will the one here do? :D
