    check again... for a very small box or padded envelope, ~$15-$20. Or, USPS Priority International Flat Rate box $27. If you're not a huge hurry, the padded envelope can go slow boat (10-14 days) for as little as $10.

    Do not even consider UPS or Fedex for (personal) intl shipments.

    Yep, 4lbs to Canada was $14...sure the lens is a lot lighter than that, but Aus is a bit further away, but international is international from what I was told.
