Slow day at Ft. De Soto
Spent a nice morning sunrise at Ft. De Soto today. The birding was quite slow and the sky was cloudy. Fortunately there wasn't much wind. It really was quiet there today, but I did manage a few shots.

Thanks, Jen. I don't normally go out to shoot pelicans, but on a slow day, I'll take whatever I can get!

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

#7 is my favorite also. That bird just looks like it's posing!

Glenn, thanks for looking at these.
There was some variety there, but none of these guys stayed around for long. Also, there was no feeding activity despite seeing a lot of feeder fish in the surf. Three hours of flybys with no active feeding is a "slow" morning for me.
I guess I shouldn't complain. I could have been at work!
