I was going for a walk and as I looked in the distance I saw these amazing clouds forming and constantly changing. I love shooting clouds and couldn't let these ones escape. Its amazing when nature puts on a show.
I found a good vantage point on top of a multi-story car park and took several shots. Here are 2 from the day here.

Those look like what we see here in Florida in the summer when an intense storm is forming. Beautiful textures....do you use a polarizer?

    Great pictures!

They're towering cumulus clouds I think - clouds to annoy pilots.

It's supercell, pretty usual here (South Florida) but not now.
It's too cold these days, must wait for next shows till May or June.

Funny I was upwind camping when that happened. Luckily we in Lacey didn't get any ash, from what I remember. That was long ago.

Pretty booming clouds you have there.

However, talking of nuclear clouds, here's one mwink.gif

Ok, ok, it's from a central heating plant. But from this vantage point on the university campus, it looks like the Physics Department blew up.

These are taken in Australia. Things are warming up down this end of the world coming into summer. I didn't use an filters to take the shot.
