Managed to grab this image of one of my fish with her babies in her mouth. She is a Malawi cichlid, which are mouth brooders. From fertilization to releasing the fry she will mouth brood for roughly thirty days and it's not very often she will open her mouth this wide for long at all......it was one of those times that the timing was perfect.

Thanks for the interest in my other hobby.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

My roommate in college had some huge cichlids in a 75 gallon tank. They are very aggressive. This image is unique to me because I can't imagine anything in a cichlid's mouth that isn't dinner. mwink.gif And the color of this one is distinct too.
