There are several things you can do. Open the image in PS, and select the stamp tool (right below the bandaid, looks like a stamp, or just press S). Hold the alt (option if on Mac) key, and select an area of the sky you want to replace the branches with. Then let go of option, and clone over (paint over) the area you want to remove.

You can also use the bandaid thing (not the one with the white spot on it, but just the regular bandaid). This is the heal tool. If you don't know how to get to it, hold shift and press J to cycle through all the tools for healing, or click and hold on the bandaid with the spot (the spot healing tool). Then option-click an area, and paint over the branches.

The two work differently, but you should get the similarly good results.

I was going to say use the clone tool and, use the sky to get rid of it. It is the easy way to do it.
    I shoot therefore Iam.
