Justiceiro used blurb to print his book on Uzbekistan.
I wish him much sucess.:D

I downloaded the software and tryed it.
It really runs very well and easilly.:D

I myself would like also, to print a photo with some of my photos.

However, if I import the books from the US and distribute them in Portugal/Europe I have to pay heavy taxes. :cry

I wonder if you have any experience with a similar service available in the European Comunity, which I could use for printing and distribution.

I googled but I didn't find something suitable, so far.

Thank you.

If You would visit the Blurb blog, You can read that Blurb now prints the books in the Netherlands. Therefore, shipping and handlng is from the Netherlands, inside the Eu! You can pay with US dollars or Euros.
My last book (about 120 pages) was sent for about 8 Euros, without extra taxes.

I live in the Netherlands, and my Blurb Book came from Switzerland headscratch.gif

I think the Dutch facility is very new. I'm not sure if it is fully operational yet?

I've also moved this to the Big Picture, btw, as it was not a journey-report thumb.gif

I have already a book from Blurb and it is very good.
However, the pictures look a bit too dark ne_nau.gif

I am ordering another one in spite of the "darkness" mwink.gif

I noticed that with my book. I'm not sure if it is because I chose the black background, or some other reason. I guess next time I will process the pics a bit lighter.

Getting and making books with these guys is a very easy process. I'm impressed with them.

Hi Ryan. How are you ? :D
Today I have been talking with some people about the book and they told me that the black has influence on the "darkness" of the pictures.

I am happy because I choosed grey for the one I sent for printing last night. I hope it comes better.
Yesterday I have been looking for posts about this blurb printing business and I stepped into imac .

I have to go and have a look at this when I have some time left.

Regards to your wife and to yourself.:Dthumb.gif
