Sorry for a delay, RL got incredibly busy...
This new week assignment is called Inside Out. It means you need to reverse your usual point of view when you're observing something and try to take a picture from that subject point of view towards you, or, better yet, from inside of it. Extreme ways would be "looking" from the inside of the stuffed turkey, boiling kettle, from the inside of the carton/bottle pouring juice/wine, etc.
Each entry should consist of two frames: one of the regular view showing your primary subject and the second one is the picture from the point of view of (the insides of ) this subject.
Pictures must be fresh, moderate post-processing OK.
Let's take it inside out!

Here's a fairly simple one to start off - a view from my 17" flatscreen...
Matthew
Matthew,
thank you, nice entry,
However I assume it's an almost complete PS , while the idea was to actually *capture* the "from-inside" view:-)

Looking forward for your entry!
Hi, I'm new to this forum, and stumbled upon this assignment. This is really fun!
From outside of the cage:
From inside:
Another one from inside:
Thank you for the entry!
The only thing I wish is a wider angle (maybe fish-eye) for the "from the cage" shot...
Thank you for the comment, Nikolai. This is already the widest I have. Adding a fish-eye to my shopping list.

thanks, it took a few trys to get my camera to focus right... but after a few setting changes later this one was a the best..... I used my wide angle lense... is there anything I could have done different (other than different food )
Try to use full manual to avoid foxusing/exposure problems.
Also think of using off-camera flash for more natural look.
HTH
Camera was on a tripod, bottle in hand. I also left the bottle cap on and pierced it - the water flowed out too quickly without the cap. Exposure about 1.5 seconds to get a bit of movement.
Matthew
I gave up then, but I may give a try tomorrow.
Matthew
I don't Mattew because I have already some empty bottles !

Nice entry Matthew, real nice!
Matthew
I've been traveling a lot lately on business, with no time to take photo's. :cry
Here's a shot from the pool. I used two cameras for the shoot. My Fuji P&S with water case and my D50.

I tried some other versions; P&S in the water, D50 on a chase lounge, but any shots taken at an angle created too much distortion. Not the most creative shot.
Dale
Dale, this is wicked! Great entry, thanks!
When I first saw the hand going into what seems to be a wall of water I totally had a Matrix moment (I mean the original first, the good one:-)
Matthew
mwalters, I liked the shot from within the bottle. It has a kaleidoscope effect.
Now onto the next assignment.
