Hi, These photos are actually a couple of years old, but I was flipping through older stuff and saw them again and thought I would share. I took them a couple of summers ago. I just happened to be looking out the window when I saw this spider hauling a bumble bee up into a sunflower. This spider was seriously strong. It hauled the bee up about 18 inches. By the time that I got my camera and ran outside, the spider already had the bee on the flower.

It's not turkey, but that ol' spider will need a nap after that meal.

    Hi Angela,
It's pretty amazing what a spider will take on,
for many of them " Size Really Doesn't Matter "
If it's food they will take it on.

Your Spider has some pretty pink markings on it's back.
I like the closeup, and also the second image which shows perspective.

    Thanks for sharing thumb.gif .... Skippy :D
