another try at tree frogs

thoughts/comments? I think the first ones colors arent as vibrant but hope im off to a better start with these two pics..if nothing else they are more "real" looking... not climbing out of plastic tubs, almost like real environment

    I really like number two. I like the dark bg. Number one is quite good too. the face is a bit bright but by no means a killer. These little guys are very photogenic. The natural looking environment is a plus. thumb.gif

    thank you very much! I look forward to many more "shoots" with these two, perhaps they should get names like my bearded dragons have (Canon and nikon)... i was thinking kodak and... rolleyes1.gif (there are two, both nameless at this point)

    Love both of 'em. Wonderful that two images of the same animal can have two such totally different feels. Well done.

    thank you neil. they are actually two different animals, they are as you can see slightly different in color; one more vibrant than the other. I love photographing them

    :) THANK YOU!! it was tough and while the lighter image is still a bit harsh it looks alot more natural. I really did like the darker image too

    Those are the coolest looking little critters...like someone else said, very photogenic. The first looks a bit overexposed; the second much better. Were these taken in the wild, or in a pet shop?

    these were taking in my living room through the aquarium my tree frogs call home ;) not too shabby for being through glass do ya think? :ivar
