Help New camera

Well 400D is in my hands and i am very happy. it looks perfect to me for now:D
Here is the problem i have discovered

It don't record image when "Mirror Lockup" is activated.When it is deactivated images are recorded :cry

Please Help

Yeah, every time I turn on mirror lockup the next day I'll think the camera's broken until I remember to turn off mirror lockup. Occasionally I'll forget to turn it off manual exposure and try a 30-second shot in the daytime, too.

Yup, you figured it out.
The 400D is a nice body and should serve you well. I like it with a grip, makes it very nice to hold as I find the 400D a slight bit too small in my hands.

Thanks all i am really in love with DSLRs now never knew how fast they are amazing :ivar
I havn't seen or touched the grip but 2nd thing on wish list is 17-40L
