Went to the getty villa on Friday with a friend and here are two of my keepers. Can I get some CC?

Wonderful shots! Composition is spot-on with both of them. The first made me laugh and the second made me think.

Other than some minor nitpicking (such as the "whoah bright!" steps in the second) I wouldn't change a thiing.

I'm loving the second shot. The only critique I could give is that I'd like to see either more or less details in the shadows in the top right. With the OMG bright white of the stairs, I'm thinking the shadows should be OMG dark black. Out side of the that minor nit, I think it is a fantastic shot. Great composition and subject.

I tend to agree with you both about the brightness of the stairs. I know it attracts the eye, but there is something about them that gives it a certain quality.
