Just checking out some forums out there and came across DGrin! Some nice work in here so I thought I'd say hi! "Hi everyone!!"
I've been in photography for awhile as a hobby. Recently it’s taken a new track and I'm really enjoying where it's taking me!!
No real theme or goal in my photos. I like capturing the detail, texture and the contrast in it all. I then work with the image a let it take me where it will! Often surprised what can be pulled out of these photos. That’s the exciting part for me!!

#1 Blad off a Fifteen foot prop on the Great Lakes freighter "Reserve".
#2 Steamship "Boblo Boat" and here life boat.
#3 Lake Michigan Shoreline "Sleeping Bear Dunes"
#4 DOUGLAS VC-118 “INDEPENDENCE” Engine Cowl

FYI there is a photo contest going on here with some pretty serious coin being awarded. go for it, you've got some real good stuff here.
