Looking for opinions on Bulk pricing and beyond.....

If you have the time, take a look at a few of my pics on my site to get an idea of what I have to sell. (Apologize, as keywords/descriptions have not been included for most pics.) For Bulk, I was thinking of doing:


4x6:$15
5x7: $17.95
8x10: $28.95

Other sizes I will figure out later, but the above are a start.

There are a few on my site that are in the 'Top 10' or the like and I think they should warrant a premium. Example's:

I'm wrestling with the same dilemma. Ivar left a link to an apperantly good resource in his reply to my "Pricing" thread. Check it out.

Here's my plan: Last night I created a spread sheet with all the sizes and products and their cost. Then I went through one pro member's prices and listed his prices for the corresponding sizes. I then calculated the % mark up and $ profit for each size and product.

Now I'm gonna do the same for 10-12 other pro members and see if I can find any consistancy or patterns in the mark ups and prices. Hopefully I'll be able to see what appears to be fair and reasonable and base my pricing on that. It's labor intensive and time consuming but Ithink it will paint an accurate picture of what's going on and where I might fit in.

Sounds like a great idea. Would you mind letting me in on your hard work....;-) Whenever you get done with your spreadsheet...I'd be very interested to see what the average pro prices are going.

Of course my prices are reasonable...to me. I could be ripping others off, or myself. Its a guessing game.
