Getting Domain Name mismatch/certificate warning

Hi Guys,

Not sure if this is a smugmug thing, or browser issue.

When I go to my own smugmug site http://www.paintbypixels.com in FireFox I get a warning to the effect "Warning: smugmug.com is presenting a unsigned certificate for paintbypixels.com........." Now this happened several times until I accepted the cert. But I'm worried that anyone else using FF or IE6/7 will get this warning and cease going to the site.

Is this a browser issue, or something I can configure on my smugmug site?

    Hi :)

I get no warning about a certificate when going to your site. I'm wondering if when you get this warning you are using https:/www.paintbypixels.com? Notice the "s" at the end of http,. Adding the "s" makes it a secure URL and not one which your customers would ever use. You will see this when you are in your control panel for example, changing your credit card information, etc. Our shopping cart is also using a secure URL, thus the https.

Is it possible when you receive the certificate warning that you are using https instead of http?

Thanks for getting back so quickly. Well, I will have to check it out on a few pcs and see if thats the case. Perhaps the 'S' was my mistake....not that I'm ever wrong of course.........

    Thanks again.

    Barb -

It looks like you get it when you login using firefox at least in my case - FF on a Mac. Login, of course, requires https......
