Hi all. I have just got a Sigma 70mm Macro and a flash. I have been dying to get a macro lense since I got the camera back in Feb. I can't believe the sharpness compared to the lenses I have had before.

I found this little chap in a bucket of sand. He agreed to pose if I let him go.

Lovely capture - looks like a jouvenile wolf spider.
Think the 70mm has a good rep for sharpness (mind you all the macro lenses I've come across seem very sharp).

Congratulations on your new Macro Setup Vinson.
Trying to do Macro without a Sharp lens kind of defeats the purpose doesn't it.... but when you get a Sharp one boy oh boy it makes a huge difference.

Your little spider looks good, his face and eyes are in focus thumb.gif
    Thanks for sharing...... Skippy :D
