Headed down to St. George, UT for Thanksgiving and managed to get out and shoot a sunrise in Snow Canyon State Park. That place is spectacular, and limitless for sunrise scenics. Taken from Lava Flow Overlook.

Great way to use the lines of the foreground rock to lead one in to the image. Nicely done...

Wonderful! I love the lines in this and the lighting is gorgeous. The clouds are cool, too. Looks like a great place to shoot. thumb.gif

    Well done Adam
This image makes me want to pay a visit to the area.
I have never visited this location, always seam to be on my way to somewhere else when driving by St George. Maybe what has always been on the back of my mind is the story about the nuclear fallout killing off generations of locals throughout the 60's and 70's. The tales are horrendous! I recall a story about a local rancher's horse falling out from under him while riding up a wash nearbyeek7.gif

Thanks all for the kind words. Marc--interesting story about nuclear fallout. I've never heard of any of that. There was this strange mist and odor going on...headscratch.gif

Don't worry about nuclear fallout...if you can't see it, it can't hurt you. :D
