Canon A710 USB Connection Problem
Hi Folks,
I don't post much here, even though I come by sorta regularly...
Hey, I just bought a used A710 on Ebay. Yeah. :cry
My iMac doesn't auto detect this camera when I connect it to the USB port.
- I've tried 2 different USB cables.
- My Casio Exilim just worked. As did my Canon S1 IS.
Is this camera broken, or is there a setting somewhere?
I have NOT loaded any of the software that came with the camera. I'd just rather use the Apple programs.

Normally, I *never* hook up my cameras via USB. It's much easier/faster to use card reader.
If in fact you can't get anything to work, go have a poke around Canon's Download Library.

Dr IT,
Nope, I did nothing except plug it in via USB. It was a fresh install of Jaguar from only a couple of weeks ago.
