    Congratulations! What an amazing round of photos. Nearly all of the entries were of top 10 quality. One of the strongest rounds in my opinion. Thanks to the judges for their difficult assignment of picking from such great photos!! To the rest of us that didn't make it this round...what a great ride and what amazing photos as well. If this quality trend continues, Dgrin should start a stock photography service.

    It was from a family sitting that I did on Friday afternoon. I'd been shooting family portraits all week long, all the hour before sunset.....one of the last shots I love to get is a nice close up of kids, ambient light...there's something magical about sunset light.

    15524779-Ti.gif !!! I haven't even finished looking through the entry thread yet and I'm amazed at all the great shots so far, including several new entrants - welcome and well done! Some of my fav's didn't make it:cry, so I feel honored (or is it just lucky?) to be among the finalists.:D What a job for the judges!

    I second the notion of a SmugMug stock service - didn't I hear something about that possibility a while ago?

    Wow. I pulled up this thread with my usual trepidation and :jawdrop wings.gif
    Pardon my little happy dance there. This round was so strong with so many amazing images. I got some very nice feedback (thanks) after entering so I felt I had done well but, as I watched all the other entries come in, I ran out of fingers before I'd counted all the shots worthy of first place.

    Thanks to the judges for your time. This can't have been an easy round to judge.

    Congrats to the top 10! I am pleased that I got closer to the cut than I have before--maybe this next round. Although, this next theme is stumping me. There were a lot of great images this round--as there are in most rounds.
