The triptych, I won't insult your eyes again with it :roflhowever, the square crop is really making those legs look better :wink

I am hoping I can work with this but more ideas I had to add to it, fizzled their shizzle after the husband (to be) called to say he is working 24/7 indefinitely after his printers meeting. Great for christmas but UGH for lps 17.

:argue :rofl

Never mind. This was my original idea when I saw the theme, but my imagination had a touch more dramatics with the second person involved BUT, I must have known he would be unavailable for me to pretend to leave as I went without him anyway:D Oh and I entered to because it is different! No expectations but it IS different, which is fun in its own way!

Well after staring at it for a while this evening, there is nothing I will change. It was what I had in mind, so all good. I have been in a creative lull with this cold etc etc. Happy I even got my idea to work to be honest. <
the way I wanted it too at any rate

I won't be able to pop back until this one is near done, I don't think, but I am rebellious so who knows. I already popped back when I should be cooking :cry but wanted to share a behind the scenes.

My faithful assistant, who would NOT move for about 20 minutes *sigh*

Have a good round guys! :clap

First off, you hit on the most important aspect of the photograph - that YOU are happy with it! I doubt that many snapshooters at the five-and-dime would ever understand how truly difficult it is to pass your vision into a capture. Hats off to you!

It took me a second to get the "decay" without the tryptich except the tryptich was too small to see the images clear enough to understand the story. Hmmmmm. So it hit me that if the wedding ring was laying on the floor in the space to the left of the cat as if it were discarded, it would really drive home the story. Unless it was about "growth" in which case I missed it all together. mwink.gif

Oh this pic is just my dog not moving for near on half an hour yesterday - an out-take. It didn't matter what I did, said, distracted with - noway was her butt moving. This was the nicest shot, most of them she had her butt right at the lens!

Thanks for your thoughts re: the tryptich! thumb.gif

Ohhhh, I'm :bash. I totally missed that it was an outtake. So I went back and looked at your tryptich on a better monitor and I think it rocks. I'd still think a discarded wedding ring would drive it home..... :D

thick as two bricks :D nice to have an idea etc etc but yeah, generally, if I submit, I look at the pic slide up above and imagine if it would look good in that - since that is where they kinda end up at the end of the day. Well - tahdar - that didn't even enter my head this time around. I will blame the cold, it has worked for that week lol

dorksville <------- new word - my entry is not even in a size that can fit, and some screens can't even work it out.

Never mind - I enjoyed doing the idea - all good, but deleted for the above reason! I love this tryptich, very good and just what I was after, but yeah, this sizing thing, pain in the a-----------------------------

    :D

If I come up with anything else, I will submit but I have a big weekend on the horizon and that is my focus, so we shall see <img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6029383/emoji/thumb.gif" border="0" alt="" >

What? No! I really liked your entry. And each part of the triptych is square. The good Doctor can crop around one of them for a great thumbnail.

If you have a better idea, by all means, keep this one out. But please don't delete it just because of sizing. It's really good. thumb.gif

Oh thanks very much, Llewellyn :) but I was having similar problems cropping it as it was. These tryptichs are trickier technically than I thought mwink.gifD so many t's in that sentence!

well I'm definitely out this round - that's twice I have seen a better, grubbier hand than mine on that slideshow thingy rolleyes1.gif I should have paid more attention throughout the year.

Now to go focus on Saturday's combusting bride - if we all make it :cry

Good luck all - check in and may the best pic win, and if it doesn't, people can type about it later on :Drolleyes1.gif
