On an globular springtail and an aphid. The springtail is about 1.8mm long so the dewdrops are pretty small.

Hi there Brain, I have never seen a Springtail for real only on the web.
Those little guys look they should be animated into some kind of cartoon character.
When you see extreme close-ups like these you start to wonder
how on earth those bugs don't drown in dew drops

for those not familiar with the metric system, one of my fingers (probably of average size) is about 20mm across, so this little bugger is not even a tenth of that-
