W3C feed validation fails

I submitted the URL of my SmugMug site for validation of the RSS and Atom feeds by the W3 and was surprised it was rejected with this diagnostic. I can't get recognised on another listing site until I can get this sorted out. Is it a SmugMug problem, or mine? :dunno

You need to give a direct link to a feed, not the link to your account

I go to this help page, but the instructions seem to cut out at step 3. What do I do with the URL?

or

are examples of feeds. You can find them near the bottom of your pages. Just copy the links given to you in the feeds section.

I'm a little confused here. You were trying to validate the feed, no? Try this one: http://feedvalidator.org/

The validation problems are reported with atom but not RSS.

But what should I be doing with those feed links in my customisation, if anything? You're dealing with an absolute novice here!

you need to do nothing. the feeds are working great (atom, rss, google earth, too)

"Give them" meaning ....? That's the bit I don't get. How do I "give them" the link?
