SOLD: Canon EF-S 10-22mm ƒ/3.5-4.5 USM

Canon EF-S 10-22mm ƒ/3.5-4.5 USM including hood. $600 shipped & insured to the continental US.
Purchased new from B&H in early February 2007. I can't find a date code on the lens, but the serial number looks to be 23301630. I don't have an exact count on the number of actuations, but ballpark is around 2400.
The lens is in very good condition, but not perfect. The lens cap has a scuff on it, and there is a scuff on the outermost edge of the front lip, where the lens cap attaches. The glass itself looks to be perfect both front and rear. I have the original packaging for both the lens and the hood.
I'm selling it because I (a) want a 40D and (b) want to move my investment into higher quality glass on the longer end of the focal range. I find myself using my Sigma 70-300 much more and would like to replace that lens with something faster and sharper.
