tripod question

hi everyone, i have a manfrotto (bogen in US) 190B with a 141RC head (it has 3 handles to adjust it)

have had it for about 9 years

i took some bracketed photos this morning using my Nikon D80 + 18-200VR at 200mm and noticed when I tried to use HDR software to put them together that they weren't perfectly aligned

do you think this is this because my tripod setup is not strong enough for the Nikon d80 + 18-200 VR lens (about 1.2Kg) - i doubt it right

or am i getting movement - ever so slight - due to i don't know but for some reason the mirror movement pops into my head?

i have no idea but am open to suggestions or ideas etc.
