If I knew how do to that I sure would! I am such a dunce when it comes to the technical stuff.
The woman's shirt in the second image is completely blown out. The light needs to be "warm" even when you shoot black and white. There is WAY too much contrast in that shot...
I really like the second one! I agree that the woman's shirt is a bit too bright on my screen. I also wonder how it would look cropped in from the right a bit. It could help eliminate some of those distracting wrinkles in the backdrop.
