Working on B&W Conversion - wedding

I have been working on B&W conversion. Please, (i beg you :rolleyes) let me know if i am on the right track.

    I think 1 and 2 lend themselves well to B&W - the conversions look fine to me, although I'm no B&W expert. Number 3 doesn't work as well for me - the rings get lost in the image. I'm not sure you'll get a good B&W out of that one. Number 4 seems OK, but if I were playing with it I'd see if i could bring out more detail in her hair and in his suit. (Wish I could be more specific with my advice... my B&W conversions tend to use the "play with the sliders in PS3 until I like how it looks" method...) You could also bring out a little detail with the shadows/highlights tool.

    They are all OK...
    I think #3 would look better if you bring back the color just on the rings...just my opinion of course.

    i do agree...#3 does not lend itself to b&w but the bride wants a small b&w album and this is one of the pictures she picked! i think i am going to try to push this one....
