Not much in the way of cool lax shots, but my son is playing in the Ivies and played prep with a couple of kids now on UNC, so I am rooting for the Heels this year (along with Duke, same connection)!

Yea photography wise there arent that many pics but I liked the whole behind-the-scenes thing. I'm planning to do the same with the wrestling team at my HS and follow them for one of their day long tournaments.

And thats so cool your son plays DI lax. I'm currently getting looked at a couple DIII schools as a senior so we'll see how that goes!

So now we go way off-topic, but best of luck to you! My guy is a freshman, but knowing what he has been through I couldn't really stomach reading the detail in the NC blog. DIII is no picnic either if you are a recruited athlete, so be prepared.

Pretty cool post. Should be interesting to see it during the season. Would be interesting to see more of the shots.
    Regards

Peyton Williams , the fellow doing this project , is a great shooter . Last year he did the same thing with the Duke Team followed them through to championship game
To bad he picked the Tar Heels this year-- Despite making the playoffs for the first time in a LONG time, last year - They would get big leads then get blown out ( duke games are good examples) did any one see the NCAA semis between Duke and UNC- expect the same this year

I'd be surprised to see them win a conference game this year

You're on! It's a tough conference for sure, but they have a couple of freshman (attack & D) who are NASTY (played NE Prep last year with my son). Maybe they don't make it back to the tournament, but they should be fun to watch and I don't think the go 0-fer the ACC.

I 'm not questioning the Talent they have --Coaching decsions both on the field and on the recruiting trail have been suspect
Here a picture from Duke UNC 1st meeting last year at half time

Duke came back to beat them 9-7, We will see but I think the 0-3 in the ACC

Here is a link to the series Peyton did on Duke last year

Good luck to yours as well. It's an enormous undertaking on top of the academic workload -- doesn't matter if it's the Ivies or the ACC, DI or DIII. Worth it though (easy for me to say)!
