Considering the shots were taken through dirty plexi glass I was happy that I got something.

Very Nice!!!! You were in my backyard - i work 5 minutes from there........ So can you name the tiger you were "shooting"? If it was a male - its sasha! If it was a female it was probably tauras. The females are just about finished being in heat,, so theyre a little edgy...
Those windows are often dirty from the tigers "spraying" their scent on them.
    Anyway GREAT JOB!!!!!

Thnxs so much Troy. All this time I lived in New York this was my first trip to the Bronx Zoo. It was great I had the whole place to myself. I am going back real soon as I sat in traffic on the Whitestone for so long I didn't have much time.. This was definately a female and she was spraying all over the place.

The next time you go to the BRONX ZOO - look very closely at the map they hand out when you pay for admission. Look at the toucan and at the snow leopard.... Im not bragging but " I TOOK THOSE PICTURES " !!!! It's my claim to fame..........

ah the Bx Zoo. Such memories. It was my backyard growing up on Mapes & 181st. (that's pronounced "hunayetyfurst")

Are the story boxes with the plastic, elephant-shaped keys still in front of each exhibit?

Those are really nice shots. I don't notice plexiglass at all.
