Katie - First model shoot

I'd really like your CC on these pics taken of Katie a pro model at this weeks Nikon Expo Solutions show in London. Nikon were holding master classes for Portrait/Fashion/wedding/bridal photographers and showing casing the D300/D3 and several new f2.8 lenses. D300's high ISO looks very good and the D3's is just stonking, so if your a Nikon shooter your in for a real treat.

These are my first ever attempt at working with a model of any kind. Shot with my Oly E1 + Zuiko 35-100F2 lens:

I know my positioning in the first and last classes was seriously off, and the E1's AF was definitely showing its age, esp. just having 3 AF points to work with. More images of K can be found here:

I'd really appreciate any comments on how to improve the images.

it seems #1 and #2 could use some cropping at the top. Otherwise..some nice shots.

3 and 6 are my favorites. And a little cropping will help these for sure. Too much space up top, as others have commented. As far as recommendations for improving? How about trying some different angles? The ones you've posted all seem to be pretty similar in your approach. Maybe even try a really tight zoom on a few - don't be afraid to chop off part of a head and focus on the eyes sometimes.
