Is one too busy? Or do you prefer the simpler frame?

    I vote for the 1st one. Having the copyright text outside is much better.

    I like the first one also. The frame color matching the flower is great, makes the flower pop more then the second shot.
    Canon 40D, stock lens and now a Canon 55mm-250mm f/4-5.6 IS.

    The frame goes will with this shot Paul.
    I'm not a lover of frames, a lot of folks are, I went through a phase of framing every shot, but rarely do it now.
