    One of the beaches .. the island is 38 klms x 11 klms ('bout 23 miles x 7 miles).

    This beach is 30 klms long.
    Local board shop.
    I just got out of this in time...wet jeans though...and ive just noticed some really ugly processing..i will do it again.
    Full ferry for the hours trip home.
    The FAST ferry i wanted.

    Lots of great places to visit up Gus's way.

    Cool shots guys. It's been a longggg time since I've been to Straddie!

    Of course, having moved to the US then to Canada means that the ferry ride is just that little bit longer to get there.

    Nice, doc! It took me a while to find Gus in the forest, given he wasn't wearing red and white stripes. I really like your shot of the impending storm too, very picturesque :D

    thanks schmoo, we actually didn't get rained on, so it was the best kind of picturesque :D


    Oh, and did we mention lunch? Oh my! I ate half the ocean and it was delicious! Conehead lunch lol3.gif
