Some Sclerophyll Forest photos from Northern NSW (across the road from my place).

The second area was recently razed by bushfire and has the new growth shooting up. Looks a little Blair Witchy to me :)

Very nice, soft and dreamy! I love forests of all type and the long in front is begging me to sit down and enjoy the view for a bit. :D

If you sit there for a while, I guarantee you will see at least one Kangaroo before day's end :o)

Roo! I love kangaroos and love it when you Aussies say "roo" because I always think that you're talking about a mixture of flour and butter to thicken sauces... lol3.gif

Skippy keeps promising to video one of them at some point for me, and I'm still waiting.

So they hang out in forests, do they?

    Hey Gus, Skippy and Schmoo

Yeah i've been trying my hand at model photography for a year to bring a bit of variety to my photography skills. Managed a couple of published works (including the current Zoo magazine), but i've come back to landscapes and wildlife as I was sick of photographing young girls in Lingerie and Swimsuits eek7.gifheadscratch.gif

I can't wait for xmas as there's a camera remote is Santas sack for me to try star trails and a couple of days landscape photography on my own in the World Heritage Barrington Tops :D

Schmoo, it depends on the type of 'Roo' but the Eastern Grey's like the forests around here.

Did I photograph the Pasha Bulka???? Well being a firey I was pretty busy over the days of the floods...but it was an opportunity not to be missed. Thousands photographed it but I tried to be unique....

I didn't see any shots by other people taken from the Cathedral roof....

This one was taken a dawn the next day (straight off the fire truck and headed to town).

Wow! The waves hitting that boat are.... not small. Particularly in the first one. Nice views, and you were on top of a cathedral?

Girls do have the ability to wear more than just underwear and swimsuits. Just sayin'! lol3.gif

Can't wait to see your star trails. We don't get enough of those around here (and I'm just as guilty of shirking that as the next shooter) thumb.gif
