Hi guys,

I had the opportunity to help shoot a wedding using my new 40D a few weeks ago. It was a pretty hard shoot with the lighting in the old Tudor Style mansion with a fairly dark room with the afternoon sun shining through the windows.

I know these aren't perfect pictures, but I think they turned out pretty good considering they were done using pretty high ISOs (~1000). I used the 40D with the 580EX II flash, lightsphere and hand held.

I played around with photoshop a bit and came up with this image ...

Imperfect though they may be, there is much to admire in these photos. I'll bet your clients will like them. Well done.

Good work! I like the last 2 the best. The window light in that last one is great, especially with the shadows on the floor.

Thanks! I kind of liked that one myself. Like I said, I'm still getting used to the new 40D, but it's a great camera.
