Just a post thanking y'all for the techincal suggestions on the wolf photo session and letting you know I posted some early results both in the request thread and in the "Wildlife" section.

You may or may not think much of the pix, but the metering is sure much improved. Thank you all.

Checked them out - looks like you had some harsh light to deal with, and got some great results!

Just out of curiosity, what focal lengths were you shooting at?

    Grain,

These sessions are always from 1:00 to 3:00 PM so the sun is pretty bright and pretty high. That's why I was looking for metering suggestions for the Arctic Grays (the white wolves).

As for FL, pretty much the gamut from 6.0 - 72mm ( 36 - 432 mm on the S5 IS) and everything in between. Give me two days or so to get them all up then go to my Animals/Evening Howl pbase gallery. Or take a look right now at the last 14 in the gallery. The EXIF data is available there.

    Talk to you soon.
