Hello everyone, well I've certainly been very busy lately, and haven't had time to visit. I'm uploading a new obligatory self portrait in the mirror...lol. Yeah, I guess I'm bored. Let me know what ya think.

    Striking!
Very subtle. If it were mine, I'd flip it so it reads correctly.

It's much easier than you think.

    1) select what you want to flip

    2) with the selection active press Ctrl - J (this creates a new layer containing
only the part of the original image which you selected)

    3) Edit->Transform->Flip horizontal.

    That's all there's to it.

In this case you'll do this twice - once for the lens face (which you can select
with the elliptical marquee tool, for example) and once for the word "Canon"
(which you can select with the rectangular marquee tool).

The only thing I can add is a small trick I routinely do to size and select circles easily. (which are difficult to do free hand)

Ctrl R to make the rulers visible
Pull a ruler from the side so it is just touching the edge of the circle
Pull a ruler from the top so it is just touching the top edge of the circle
    Select the elliptical marquee tool
put the cursor where the rulers meet, hold a left click and pull down and right to form the correct size and placement of the circle.

Now go ahead and do edit>transform>flip horizontal.

Great shot as is or why not flip the entire pic.
I have never seen a left handed camera before. The shutter is on the wrong side.

Or on the right side, if you're left-handed. :)

Another trick is holding down the space bar while resizing the selection. This
allows you to move it. As soon as you release space you're back to resizing.
    Very convenient.

Okay, how's this one? Any better for a right handed camerarolleyes1.gif lol
I just liked the shot, and it's fun playing with it (seems I'm not so bad after all as long as the rest of my face is covered by the camera haha).
