Hi All,

I remember seeing a list of the "must have" wedding photos on here somewhere but now I can't find it :rolleyes

If anyone has it listed (or has there own list) could you please post it here.

    This is a basic guide I have worked years on to perfect and get right. By no means is it set in stone and I still deviate slightly from some of these, but its a good start.

    THE BRIDES HOME/DRESSING ROOM IN CHURCH

    Bride Getting Ready
    • The invitation and possibly the ring bearers pillow with the bridal bouquet
    • Mirror photos
    a. bride using comb and brush
    b. bride with compact
    c. bride applying lipstick
    d. brides hands holding parents’ wedding photo with her reflection in the mirror behind
    e. brides hands holding invitation with her reflection in the mirror behind
    f. brides hand holding engagement ring, with her reflection in the mirror behind
    g. bride and mirror together
    3. Mom adjusting bride’s veil
    4. Bride and maid of honor
    5. Bride’s shoes
    6. Bride’s feet peeking out from under the dress
    7. Other bridal accessories

    Groom Getting Ready (same time as above)
    • Putting on tie and tux jacket
    • With ring bearer, adjusting tie (posed shot)
    • Various groomsmen, and best man getting ready
    • Groom in mirror, finishing touches
    • Groom and groomsmen, and best man outside of house, in tuxes
    • Grooms entire party getting into cars, etc
    The Living Room/Church Interior or Yard

    • Bride and sisters (and optional, bride with each sister or bride with all siblings)
    • Bride and brothers (and optional bride with each brother)
    • Bride and bridesmaids (and optional bride with each maid)
    • Bride with flower girl
    • Bride alone: three to four close-up poses, two to three images per pose
    • Bride alone: three to four full lengths
    Leaving the House
    • Bride, parents, and bridesmaids in front of house, tight and wide shots
    • Dad helping bride into limo/other form of transportation



    THE CEREMONY

    Arriving At the Ceremony
    • Dad helping bride out of limo (or variations)
    • Groom and best man: two frames (possibly the second as a gag shot)
    • Church/ceremony location architecture, and signage of location
    • Interior of empty church where ceremony will happen
    • Rings in the bible (if possible)
    The Processional (set ISO settings for church lighting)
    • mother of bride and mother of groom being escorted down the aisle
    • each bridesmaid walking down the aisle
    • maid of honor walking down the aisle
    • flower girl and ring bearer
    • bride and dad walking down the aisle: at least two shots
    • dads kiss goodbye
    Readings or Music
    Long Exposure from Rear, wide
    Rings Two Times
    Candle Lighting/Memory Candle/Sand Ceremony
    Special Traditions
    • mass
    • couple kissing at sign of peace
    • bride and groom kissing parents at sign of peace

    The Recessional

    Sorry for the late reply, I just saw this then and remembered I posted it...

    I actually saw the title and thought "that is what I need!!!", then realised it was my post headscratch.gif

    Great list and yes, this is the one I saw before.
