Lost Coast
Went up to the Lost Coast for a nice solo adventure. Had great weather, and the views were too amazing not to share.
Sunset on the first night...
Got a good distortion. "Omega Sunset" This pic is zoomed in pretty far, so kinda grainy... Need a big lens.

Lots of makeshift camps at every river crossing... This was my camp for night 1.
Sunrise
Shortly after came across this decomposing Black Bear. :huh
The combination of the ocean, the steep mountainside, and the fog make this a special place.
For night two, I decided to hike to the top of King's Peak, the highest point in the Lost Coast.
Got some great views from the top.
Sunrise...
Good Bye... :rofl
More pics in my gallery...

Just for my taste - pictures are way too small to enjoy.
XTi, G9, 16-35/2.8L, 100-300USM, 70-200/4L, 19-35, 580EX II, CP-E3, 500/8 ...
DSC-R1, HFL-F32X ... ; AG-DVX100B and stuff ... (I like this 10 years old signature :^)
I think your horizon is off in the first 2 btw.
but we should wait for kubi to confirm for sure.
Great thing - most of pics are bigger now

The Lost Coast is in Northern California. If you were going to look at a map,
the nearest towns would be Petorlia or perhaps Shelter Cove. The Sinkyone
Wilderness is included. I want to say the road that goes mostly through the area is
Usal Road.
If you enjoy wilderness, this is certainly the place.
