Shooting indoor sports, such a learning process. C&C certainly appreciated. Shot with a Rebel XT, 1/400, f/2.8, AWB.

A little bit of photoshop work, but I certainly need to learn more about processing images.

    Matt,

Not a bad start. You caught some nice action, ball still in the frame. Not underexposed - in fact, it might even be a bit overexposed.

The biggest area for improvement is framing - there's a lot of uninteresting dead space in the frame. The ball handler and #3 defender are the only things of interest in the horizontal frame - so all the space to the left and right of them can go.

The shot is also back-focused. #3 is in sharper focus than the ball handler although neither face is precisely sharp so I'm guessing the focal plane is somewhere in between.

    Still, a very good start!
