Andy's right about trickery - there are two ways to do it.
With your registrar/host, you should be able to PARK your extra domains on your existing domain (the one with the smugmug CNAME). This'll accomplish what you want.
Also, you can always set up forwarding domains (also with your registrar)>
- www.denisegoldberg.com is CNAMEd, and is pointing to my smugmug account.
- www.denisegoldbergphotography.com is forwarded to www.denisegoldberg.com.
Both names get the user to my smug account. Will I run into a problem with it in the future? SmugMug doesn't guarantee that this will always work, but for now it does work. Regardless of which URL the user types, my pages are shown with the denisegoldberg.com URL.--- Denise

The only thing I'd add for clarification is that with that method, "denisegoldbergphotography.com" will never show up in the user's address bar, it will immediately change to "denisegoldberg.com". No big deal, but it sometimes shocks/bothers some users.

I dunno, but when you find it, see if it's hanging out with mine. I've been missing it for years!
I have several domains, www.garymorgenphotography.com is my main and is CNAMED to smugmug. I bought a couple of other domains given the spelling of my name (and how people mispell it) which I forward to my primary.
BUT the interesting part is I have yet another domain www.hhsbpa.org which is forwarded to a particular gallery in my main domain! From the category of this gallery down, I have a different banner and a different nav bar...so the 'Home' of the alternate nav bar points back to that entry gallery. Although the URL shows garymorgenphotography.com etc., all the navigation and look and feel makes it feel like a different website. Unless you type into the URL directly (or hyperlink to the photos in the main website), you stay contained in the category. It works fairly well.
Maybe this technique will work for you?
- Gary.
