    Nice series of photos. For color, you can't go wrong with the butterfly/flower combination.

    Some of the shots look a little hot, while others look a tad out of focus. I have found that manual focus, making sure that the subject is well in focus, is better than AF in many instances since there are other objects on which the AF may want to focus. Also, to control depth of field, DOF, try stopping up to F8 or higher. I recently shot some frogs at F13 to have a deep depth of field. Of course, this also means that your lens aperture is smaller thus letting less light in so considering the high shutter speed you may want to capture fluttering wings, an external flash unit may be necessary.

    Thanks for the comments. I was doing some experimenting with a couple of lenses. I agree with controlling the DOF with the f stop. A nrrow DOF sometimes gives a great effect by excentuating a particular spot.
