DOF Calculator

I don't know if you have seen something like this before. It's DOF calculator. Interesting to see what the numbers are..

so for my 105mm lens with 15 in distance to subject and fstop at f/16, I only get 1/4 inch of DOF.
D700, D600
14-24 24-70 70-200mm (vr2)
85 and 50 1.4
45 PC and sb910 x2

    Yes have seen it- 1/4" is a luxury in macro think I'm down to much less than 1mm at 5:1.

    If I'm not mistaken, with the Canon MPE-65, at f/2.8 and at 5:1, the DOF is something like .07mm. Talk about razor thin!

    Interesting, because the mpe booklet lists 0.048mm for those settings ... so an even thinner razor :)
