Our dog Joshua died last week, he was 12 years old but he was in excellent shape and very active for a dog of his age. Unfortunately he got out of the yard and was struck by a car, he will be greatly missed.
Joshua was my buddy and pal, he was allways happy when I got home and sad to se me go. He was there for me whenever I was sad or lonely.
The following are some of the more recent photo's of him.

1. Staying cool in the shade.

2. Just hanging out.

3. Joshua and friends.

4. on the look out.

I hope you enjoy the photos and I'm sorry I hadn't posted any photos of him before. Farewell old friend.

always so sad to lose such a dear pet.

people who don't have them wonder why you get so upset and can't understand it.

so sorry for your obvious sad loss.

so sorry about your loss --mine was 12 when she left. A little boy once said this He said, "People are born so that they can learn how to live a good
life -- like loving everybody all the time and being nice, right?" The
six-year-old continued, "Well, dogs already know how to do that, so
they don't have to stay as long."

Sorry to hear you have lost your beloved Joshua.
Pets bring so much pleasure into our lives,
they really don't expect anything from us,
except that we be there for them.

I vowed and declared that I would never get another pet
after losing both my cats within a 2 year period.

The grief you go through when they pass away can be hard to deal with.

Well I obviously didn't declare hard enough,
because a little cat decided to move into my place a few months ago,
and has absolutely made itself at home rolleyes1.gif

Time will slowly soften the blow of losing your pet,
I know how much it hurts when it happens.

    Thanks for sharing Joshua's pictures.

Thank you, I do want to get another dog maybe in a couple years. We lost another dog earlier this year due to old age he was 15, but we staill have a cat and he's missing the dogs. So we are giving the cat the extra attention.

Your pain is one that I will have to endure someday, and have endured in the past. Loosing a member of your family like that is very hard, and I want to pass along my most deepest condolences. When you get sad, remember the fun times and laugh about the goofy things you two used to do, hopefully it will put a smile on your face.

    Take Care,
    Joe
